When You Tire of Eating Vulture Food, Stegosaurus Food Awaits
Everyone always
uses “rabbit food”
when comparing
a vegan diet
to that of
another animal,
as if that were
the only herbivore
known to man
No one ever
declares,
“I refuse to
eat bison food”
or “keep your
gorilla food
away from me”
“Enjoy your
hippopotamus food”
is never dismissively
tossed at us
“I admire
what you do
but I just couldn’t
eat elephant food,”
has yet to be uttered
No one ever
blankly questions,
“Why would you want
to eat rhinoceros food?”
“How’s your gazelle food?”
Nope
Always rabbit food
