Waffles

1 3/4 cup flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp flax seeds ground
1 3/4 cup plant-based milk
1/2 cup oil

maple syrup

If using ground flax seeds, place in a bowl with 6 tablespoons of water and whisk with fork and let sit for five minutes. If using whole flax seeds, mix with 6 tablespoons of water with an immersion blender.


Mix dry ingredients, then mix wet ingredients, then mix it all together. Use a waffle iron to make your waffles. This recipe will make about five waffles, depending on the size the waffle iron.

Top with fruit or peanut butter and chocolate chips. Pour maple syrup on top and enjoy.
