Salsa Cruda

3-4 large ripe tomatoes
1/2 cup shredded basil
1-2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup olive oil
salt and pepper
1 pound spaghetti

Chop and seed the tomatoes. Place them in a bowl. Add basil, garlic, and oil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix and set aside.

Cook spaghetti. Serve cold tomatoes over hot spaghetti. Especially delicious in the summer with tomatoes right out of the garden.
