Burritos
Burritos are so flexible. We make the options and then each go down the line and put in our whatever we want.
Crumble and sauté vegan sausage (Field Roast or Beyond) with an onion.
Cook a package of Near East spanish rice per directions on the box.
Heat a can of black beans with 1/2 package of taco seasoning.
Additional options we usually have avaiable:
salsa
guacamole
hot sauce (Ol’ Dirty Sheets’ funky kingston)
vegan sour cream
vegan cheese shreds
scallions
lettuce
a diced tomato
a few crunched tortilla chips.
Place what you want in your burrito, roll, and enjoy.
We sometimes use Impossible or Beyond ground beef instead of sausage. Brown in skillet, then add 1/2 packet of taco seasoning and 1/2 cup water and cook just a little to evaporate some water, but keeping it moist.
